What facility managers and plant engineers ask before a coating programme.

What coatings do you use for factory walls and floors?

It depends on the environment. Production walls typically take hard-wearing washable acrylic or epoxy systems, floors take epoxy or similar resin systems rated for the traffic and chemicals present, and steel takes anti-corrosive primer systems. We specify per zone after a site survey.

Can painting be done without stopping production?

Usually, yes. Work is phased zone by zone, scheduled off-shift where needed, and contained so dust and odour do not drift into live areas. Where a full stop is unavoidable, we concentrate the work into your planned shutdown windows.

How do you reach high ceilings, trusses and steelwork?

With boom lifts, scissor lifts and scaffold as the structure requires, operated by crews trained for work at height. Access planning is part of the method statement.

How important is surface preparation really?

It is the job. Coating failures almost always trace back to skipped preparation — painting over rust, grease or friable concrete. We prepare to the coating manufacturer's datasheet so the system achieves its rated life.

Do you repair spalling concrete and cracks first?

Yes. Spalled concrete is cut back, treated and rebuilt, and cracks are routed and sealed before coating. Painting over failing concrete only hides the problem while it worsens.

How do you handle site safety requirements?

Our crews work to your facility's safety rules — inductions, PPE, permit-to-work systems and housekeeping standards — and the method statement is agreed with your team before work starts.

Do you paint industrial building exteriors too?

Yes. Facades, signage bands, external steel and boundary structures are covered, scheduled around weather windows and coated in exterior systems suited to industrial exposure.
